Laurie Fox
Ed.D., ET/PDr. Fox has had more than 20 years of experience working with students of all ages as a Reading, Speech, and Learning Specialist, Classroom Teacher, Diagnostician, Counselor, and Professional level Educational Therapist. Teaching foci are Metacognition, Executive Function, Reflective Practice, Psychology, Communication, and First Year Transition. Research areas have included daily stress, executive function, and reflective practice. She is the National Association of Educational Therapists' Study Group Leader for Greater Boston and coordinates Curry's Faculty Peer Support Program grounded in reflective practice.
Major publications include Senior Editor of Changing Lives Through Metacognitive Relationships: LD/ADHD and College Success (including contributions on Executive Function and the Change Process) and co-author of the Learning Disabilities Reference (LDR) available via the Curry bookstore at 617.333.2322 and www.curry.edu/PALpublications .
