Maureen Hillier

Maureen is an assistant professor and currently teaches Pathophysiology.  In the clinical setting, Maureen leads a Pediatric clinical group at Boston Children's Hospital on a general surgical ward. . She holds an MSN in Nursing Education from Framingham Sate University and a BSN from the University of Rhode Island.  She is currently enrolled in the Ph. D. program at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

In addition to her role at Curry, she is an adjunct clinical faculty member for Northeastern University and a staff nurse in the Multidisciplinary Intensive Care Unit at Boston Children's Hospital where she has worked for almost 25 years.

Maureen's nursing interests include the care of the critically ill pediatric oncology patient, PICU parental stressors, human patient simulation and inter-professional education utilizing simulation. She is married and has four children.
