Jeannette Landrie, Learning Ability Specialist, has taught in the Program for Advancement of Learning (PAL) since 2000 after graduating from Curry College's graduate school of education. Professor Landrie concentrated on postsecondary special education and researched the relationship between learning disabilities and creativity. As a lifetime lover of learning, she has continued taking undergraduate and graduate level classes ranging from Chinese language and philosophy to Integrating Social Studies and the Arts to Brain and Behavior.
Professor Landrie has co-authored two chapters "From High School to College: Preparing Students with LD/ADHD" with Professor Lori Lubeski and "Metacognition and Mandarin" with Professor Sanne Dinkel. They are included in the recently published book "Changing Lives Through Metacognitive Relationships: LD/ADHD and College Success." Professor Landrie also co-introduced Curry's minor in Asian Studies along with Professor Robert Smid.
