Alison W. Markson, Psy.D, LICSW

Dr. Markson is a licensed psychologist and licensed social worker with over fifteen years of experience in the mental health field.  She is a graduate of the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology and the Boston University School of Social Work, where she earned a doctorate in Psychology and a Master of Social Work respectively.  Her professional work includes prior work at Bridgewater State University Counseling Center, outpatient psychotherapy clinics, hospital settings and residential programs for individuals with major mental illness.   Areas of clinical interest include transition to adulthood, gender identity, trauma, stress management and mood disorders.
