Professor Nancarrow's research focuses on U.S. Legal and Constitutional history, Gilded Age and Progressive Era America, and the interaction of law and politics in American history. Professor Nancarrow has received financial support from the American Historical Association's Littleton-Griswold fund for research in U.S. legal history, as well as the North Caroliniana Society.
