Dr. Bruce Steinberg is the Chair of the Psychology Department. He received his bachelor's degree from the City College of New York (CCNY) in 1968. He received his master's degree in 1971 and his doctorate degree in 1975 in Experimental Psychology from Tufts University.

His areas of specialization are Perception and Physiology.

Dr. Steinberg is married and has three grown children. He enjoys traveling in the Caribbean and Europe with his wife Nikki and, when not working, Bruce might be found scuba diving in the Caribbean, skiing in Vermont, or cruising the backroads of New England on his motorcycle.
