Nancy Winbury is the Coordinator of PAL Admissions and the Coordinator of the Educational Diagnostic Center at Curry College, a testing center focused on evaluation of adolescents and adults. Her interests include learning disabilities, reading development, and strength-based assessment. She also teaches and advises college-level learning disabled students at Curry College.
Nancy received her Ph.D. in educational psychology from the University of Connecticut in 1984. Initially working as an elementary school resource room teacher, she went on to psycho-educational testing and consulting at Yale Medical School, the University of Connecticut Health Center, Boston Children's Hospital, and private practice. She has presented workshops on a variety of topics, including: psycho-educational testing and diagnosis, the college search process for students with learning disabilities and/or ADHD, and early reading development.
