Nancy J. Young

Nancy Young has wide-ranging interests in writing and literature. Her recent sabbatical project was a collection of poems on poverty and the poor by 19th century British women writers. She recently presented a paper about collaborating with another Curry writing professor to develop innovative Writing Workshop classes, and is currently pursuing an interdisciplinary doctorate at Lesley University. Her recent writing research focuses on the appeal of 1960's pop singer Dusty Springfield to various fan groups.
