
Mission
The Excellence in Teaching Committee provides ongoing support to enhance the teaching and learning experience at Curry College.
The committee reports to the Faculty and fulfills its mission through the following activities: promotes the study and discussion of learning and teaching-related issues among Faculty and students; recommends and allocates funds for library materials that promote excellence in teaching; keeps abreast of current pedagogy and disseminates new information to the campus community; sponsors and supports innovation, discussion, and reforms that would promote excellence in teaching; sponsors forums; participates in the selection of teaching award recipients; supervises and awards stipends for classroom research and disseminates results of such research; secures grant monies; promotes Faculty development; and collaborates with other institutions and organizations.
