Instruction and Information Literacy:
Programs, Events, and Workshops

Past events:

  • March 29, 2004: An Information Literacy Program at Curry: Is it Something We Even Want?
Please join us for lunch in the library. We’d like to hear from you regarding your opinions in support or in opposition to creating an information literacy program on our campus. We’re also interested in having you if you have no opinion either way. We want to know the feelings of the larger community. Lunch will be served.
  • February 4, 2004: Information Literacy Brown Bag Lunch
Join us in the library for a brown bag lunch discussing information literacy. Specifically, we will look at the ways information literacy exists on other college campuses and discuss how information literacy could appear on our campus.
  • October 1, 2003: Information Literacy Luncheon
Please join us in the library for good food and a lively discussion about information literacy. As a group, we would like to ignite conversation that will define information literacy for our community and determine what it means for us. We look forward to conversing with those of you who are familiar with the topic as well as those who are new to it.
This event is co-sponsored by the Dean's Office, Excellence in Teaching and the Library.
