Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act
In accordance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, Curry College permits its students to inspect their records wherever appropriate and to challenge specific parts of them when they feel it is necessary to do so. Damien Echols spoke before a standing room only crowd of hundreds of students, faculty, and community members in the Keith Auditorium on Curry College's Milton Campus.
Curry College students and faculty participated in the Northeastern Association of Criminal Justice Sciences (NEACJS) 36th Annual Meeting held in Portsmouth, Rhode Island from June 6 to June 8, 2012.
"I tell my students at the beginning of each semester, 'In my class, I need you to bring your 'A' game...everyday.' We really do take it to another level," says Criminal Justice Professor Jen Balboni.
"Pursuing and earning a master's degree gives you an advantage in terms of the growth of your career and in terms of having more knowledge to draw upon," says John Fratolillo. "For me, it was about applying that knowledge to my everyday work life."
Carrie Hormanski chose Curry College for her bachelor's degree in criminal justice, and has decided to continue her education with Curry's Master of Arts in Criminal Justice degree program.
"The professors I've had in the courses I have taken have had an enormous positive effect on not only my job performance, but on me as well. I have learned a lot through the MACJ program and will use what I have learned throughout the rest of my career."
