Curry Arts Journal
The Curry Arts Journal enlivens artistic expression at Curry in publishing an appealing, professional edition of student writing and artwork each year and by sponsoring workshops, readings and coffeehouses that celebrate student voices each semester.

The Curry Arts Journal Practicum courses, ENG 2540 and ENG 2545, are three-credit practica that give you hands-on experience in producing a literary arts journal. As staff members of the Curry Arts Journal, students engage in all aspects of the year's edition, including critiquing, editing, proofreading, design, layout, publicity and events planning. The creation of the Curry Arts Journal Practicum in Fall 2003 marked an exciting change in the operation of the Journal. Up until that date, it had been published through the volunteer efforts of a Curry student club or organization.
Over the last several years, the classroom setting has created a consistent time (TTh 1 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.) and place (the Levin Library Seminar Room) for Curry Arts Journal staff members to engage in the work of the Journal. The three-credited contract has encouraged students to invest in the work's outcome and influence content, design and layout more fully than ever before.
Students interested in submitting to the Curry Arts Journal or participating in the Practicum are welcome to contact faculty advisor and practicum instructor, Karen D'Amato, kdamato@curry.edu.
