Media & Technology Services
Campus Internet Downtime Notifications
*On Sunday, January 20 at 7 a.m., Curry's internet connection will be unavailable for approximately one hour due to scheduled maintenance. Portal access, Blackboard, Gmail, and all other college applications will be unavailable during that time.
The Media and Technology Services Office is located on the fourth floor of the Kennedy Building in Room 419. You may contact the Media and Classroom Technology department by dialing (617) 333-2142 or by emailing media@curry.edu.
Hours of Operation - During Fall and Spring Semesters:
Monday through Thursday - 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Friday - 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Hours of Operation - Summer and Break Periods:
Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Arrangements can be made for equipment needed at times other than regular office hours.
Our Mission
The goal of Media Services is to provide the faculty, staff and students with the resources necessary to communicate and share information to enhance the learning process while furthering the academic climate.
Classroom Technology and Equipment: All classrooms are equipped with video and sound presentation capabilities. Classrooms contain a PC, DVD/VHS Player, and LCD (Data Projector). Additionally, most rooms are equipped with an Extron Control system with a Smartboard or Smart Sympodium. Please contact us with any specific technology questions.
Computer Labs: Media and Technology Services supports 3 PC Labs, and 2 MacIntosh Labs. The PC Labs are located on the 3rd floor of the Kennedy Academic Building. The MacIntosh Labs are located in the Hafer Academic Building, and the other next to the Kennedy PC Labs. Labs are fully equipped with sound and video presentation capabilities. Labs are available for open use for students outside of regularly scheduled classes. Open hours are posted at each location for the semester.
