The Office of Alcohol, Drug, and Wellness Education department works to provide students in the college community with the information they need to make educated decisions about their overall wellness including alcohol and other drug use. The Alcohol and Drug Awareness Educator facilitates awareness on campus through workshops, programming, and peer education to inform students of the facts on alcohol and other drugs, possible consequences of alcohol and drug use, and to encourage them to make safe and healthy choices for themselves.
Programs, events, and information are also offered which address general student wellness topics such as:
- Stress management
- Relaxation techniques
- Taking good care of yourself

Curry College's R.A.G.E. (Raising Awareness through Group Education) Peer Educators were pleased to welcome local basketball star/author Chris Herren to campus to speak with students in the Spring of 2012. Herren, a Fall River native, realized his dream of playing for the Boston Celtics in the NBA only to lose it all to addiction before rising again with a new dream.
