3rd Annual
Golf Marathon
Friends of Curry Athletics raise funds at 3rd Annual Golf Marathon

The 3rd Annual Golf Marathon took place on May 21, 2003 at the River Bend Country Club in West Bridgewater, MA. Once again this year, the Athletic Department's largest fundraising event was expertly organized by administrative assistant Teresa Hood. Forty hearty souls made their first of 100 tee shots at 7:00 a.m. and wrapped up play nearly 10 hours later. Among the participants were Colonels' head coaches Neal Anderson, Rob Davies, Danielle Ferrara, Todd Goclowski, Emer

Molloy, Steve Nelson, Dave Perdios, Caitlin Roberts, Bruce Weckworth and Malcolm Wynn. Nearly $33,500 was raised in one-time or per-hole pledges - funds now directly earmarked for the athletic team represented by each individual golfer. Larry Mulrey was the event's top fundraiser with more than $3,200 in pledges for the Colonels' football program. On the course, Terry Ray recorded the most pars (45), while Nick Katsos sank the most birdies (13).
