Trustee John W. Keith, President Kenneth K. Quigley, Jr., Trustee Douglas A. King and Chairman of the Board James M. Sullivan spread the news about Curry.

Curry connections can be found throughout Cape Cod each and every summer and this year was no exception.

President Quigley brought the news of so many good things happening at Curry College to Trustees and other good friends, like Congressman Stephen Lynch, who gathered at a clambake on the Cape. Trustee Douglas A. King and wife Claire and Chairman of the Board James M. Sullivan and wife Diane hosted the event, held at the King summer residence in Osterville in August.

Thanks to the generous hospitality of Doug and Claire King, Curry at the Cape has quickly become a popular tradition. Dozens of people who are friends and neighbors of the Kings and other Curry Trustees who relax at the Cape learn the Curry story and often are moved to provide philanthropic leadership gifts.

Curry College was a proud sponsor of the Cape Cod Baseball League (CCBL), the premier amateur baseball league in the nation since 1885. Speaking to a summer population of broad geographic range, the sponsorship allowed the College to spread the word about excellence in education through banner signage at the nine CCBL parks on the Cape; program book advertisements; live reads of public service announcements during the games; informational tables set up on Curry College nights; and first pitch ceremonies featuring members of the Curry College community.
