Curry College Launches Redesigned Website - www.curry.edu

Curry College is pleased to announce the recent launch of its newly redesigned website, available at www.curry.edu. The College partnered with a Boston-based interactive agency, BigBad, Inc., well recognized for their expertise with higher education clients, to design and develop the new website, which will play a pivotal role in future marketing and recruiting efforts of the College. It is intended to communicate a brand personality that is open, friendly, flexible, warm, caring, student-centered, intimate, active, energetic, vibrant, engaged, exciting, current, and real-world focused.

A consistent, unified approach to visual design has been applied to all levels of the site, giving it a contemporary look and feel. Topic oriented, audience-oriented,

local, contextual, and breadcrumb navigation have been implemented consistently throughout the site to improve the user experience.

The new website also implements Microsoft Content Management System, allowing the College to decentralize the creation and maintenance of the site, permitting authorized content providers to contribute to its evolution.

BigBad collaborated with President Kenneth K. Quigley, Jr. and the

College’s redesign team including the Senior Staff of the College, the Institutional Advancement Office, and the Tech Center. Many other college departments and constituents also contributed throughout the process.

“The new Curry website is the result of a highly disciplined, yet collegial effort,” states Vice President of Advancement Tom Brodnicki. “From the beginning, Curry staff, faculty, and students have worked hand in hand with the redesign team to create this extraordinary communication tool.”
