As Curry continues to grow and develop, the College has been mindful of developing on-campus housing so that students are not forced to seek housing in local neighborhoods. In February 2005, the Board of Trustees, in a unanimous vote, approved the construction of a new residence hall to be located at 886 Brush Hill Road.
No time was wasted getting this new building ready for our students to move in this fall. The teamwork of Suffolk Construction Company, Inc. and architectural firm CBT/Childs Bertman Tseckares Inc., utilizing a design/build approach, has enabled Curry to carry out first class facility programs in a most professional manner and under extreme time constraints. This is the fourth new residence hall and the sixth new construction project to be constructed on campus in the last six years.
This stunning new facility is now "home away from home" for 150 predominantly second year students, and completely changes the landscape of the North Campus adding a court yard gathering space. The building also houses two classrooms and a temporary bookstore.
