MARK 9TH ANNUAL BOARD OF TRUSTEES GOLF TOURNAMENT
Wonderful weather and philanthropic friends made the Ninth Annual Trustees' Golf Tournament another successful fundraising event for Curry College.
The 2004 tournament once again exceeded the prior year's success with nearly $90,000 in net proceeds raised at the event held in October at the Wollaston Golf Club in Milton.
After a glorious day of golf and a chance to bid on silent auction items, participants gathered for dinner and a live auction led by former New England Patriot and Curry Friend Bill Lenkaitis and Trustee Joseph P. Plunkett. The evening culminated in the drawing for the winner of a special Spring Training Vacation Trip Raffle. Trustees F. Fred Pezeshkan and John "Ted" Mahoney partnered to donate a vacation trip and Red Sox Spring Training Game Tickets, respectively. The trip for four included seven days, six nights in Ft. Myers, Florida from March 4-10, 2005 including airfare, hotel and game tickets. Congratulations to Pamela Sullivan, the lucky winner!

Special thanks go to Trustees John "Ted" Mahoney, Esq., P'03, Marcia M. Corey '77, Jerald S. Savage and Kathryn M. Sardella, '67, M. Ed. '81 for their leadership roles on the Ninth Annual Tournament Committee. Their commitment to the success of this tournament reflects the spirit of excellence established by Marcia Corey and her tournament co-founder, Trustee Jerie DeAngelis, whose memory we honor each year.
Recognized among Curry's many fine traditions, this tournament has generated over $500,000 over the years thanks to the support of so many wonderful sponsors and participants. These proceeds have helped fund scholarships and special programs that support the mission of our College, making a significant difference for our students, faculty and staff.
