HOMECOMINGCONSIDERED A GREAT SUCCESSAlthough a bit chilly and damp at the start, the Curry Campus warmed up quickly on October 4 as alumni and friends came from near and far to enjoy Homecoming 2003. The festivities began with a re-dedication of the WMLN-FM Radio Station where a gift of more than $100,000 from alums Joe Kaminkow '83 and Kim (Kruger) Kaminkow '80 was recognized by more than 100 alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends. This major gift has brought the finest state-of-the-art equipment and a refurbishing to the radio station facility that will serve our current students and those for years to come very well. Tours of the station and campus, a victory over MIT on the gridiron, a highly successful clam bake and spirited student/ alumni pub rounded out a great day for Curry and our alumni. All are looking forward to a special Homecoming 2004 the weekend of October 15-17 as we celebrate Curry's 125th Anniversary. |
