ALUMNI COUNCIL We are pleased to announce the formation of the Curry College Alumni Council. The Council is comprised of alumni representatives from a cross section of class years and interests. The Council has assumed the role of the Alumni Board and serves as the representative body of the Alumni Association. The mission of the Council is to cultivate and maintain the interaction between Curry College and its graduates. There are four committees within the Alumni Council. They are: Alumni Relations - Alumni promote the success and reputation of Curry College by increasing interest and involvement of alumni. For example: Help plan an alumni event or reunion by contacting other alums to encourage attendance. Reach out to classmates to collect news from classmates for the "Class Notes" section of the Curry Magazine. Help provide opportunities for alumni recognition and assist with plans for the College's 125th Anniversary. Admissions and other Campus Events - Alumni will attend various Admission related events to promote the College and to speak with prospective and new students about the Curry College experience. Annual Fund Leadership Team - This is a group of alumni dedicated to growing the base of support for the Annual Fund for the direct benefit of Curry students. Committee members play an active role in engaging alumni by personally contacting them and asking them to consider a gift to the Annual Fund. Career Services - Alumni are a valuable resource for our students. The Office of Career Services partners with alumni to provide informational interviews, participate in a Career Exploration event, host a Curry Business Trip, or provide an internship for a student. | The Curry College Athletic Hall of Fame is an organization within the Alumni Association whose purpose is to recognize the accomplishments of the College's greatest athletes, coaches and athletic supporters. Special honors go to those who have given extraordinary support to the College's athletic program, brought honor and distinction to Curry College, and supported the College's intercollegiate athletic programs in all ways possible. | |
| Any Curry graduate who participated for at least two years as a varsity athlete and whose original class graduated a minimum of five years ago is eligible to be elected to the Curry College Hall of Fame. Consideration is also given to the individual's professional achievements, community service and citizenship.
