Sixteen students joined five staff members and an alum when Curry
College supported the Marie Curry Walk-AThon in September
2003. It was a great Curry College community service experience
for all participants!
The Office of Student Activities sponsored the Fall 2003 Taste
of Curry event in the Drapkin Student Center. Faculty
and staff shared their culinary expertise with the community. "It's
a modern day version of the Pot Luck Dinner, complete with music,
laughter and good conversation," says Mike Randall, Director of
Student Activities.
The Campus Activities Board (CAB) sponsored the return of the Harlem
Rockets Comedy Basketball Team to Curry in November
2003.
The Alliance Student Organization acknowledged World AIDS Day throughout
the day on December 1 by distributing red ribbons to students, staff,
and faculty in the Drapkin Dining Hall and holding a candlelight
vigil in the evening at Westhaver Park.
The Classes of 2006 and 2007 co-sponsored a Diversity
Dinner with the Diversity Committee that included
authentic African and Carribean Music by Mohammed Kalifa.

Holiday
festivities wouldn't have been complete without the Curry Chorale.
Their Light Up! celebration
also featured the Curry Dancers performing live "A River in Judea."
Senior Staff kept up the Midnight Breakfast
tradition, serving students a late night repast as exam week began
in December.
Students explored internships and career paths at the Fall
Career Expo in the Drapkin Student Center. Representatives
from WCVB-TV Channel 5, Morgan Stanley, The May Institute, WB56,
and many more participated in the recruitment event.
In November 2003, Curry Theatre presented Neil Simon's
The Odd Couple.
