Stock Trading Classroom Named in Memory of
Gregory T. Spagnoletti, '90
As the Curry Community gathered to acknowledge the fifth anniversary of the tragic events of 9/11 through reflection, prayer and song, we remembered the loss of alumni Gregory T. Spagnoletti '90 and Peter Christian Fry '88 who were among the victims at the World Trade Center.
President Quigley informed the community at the 9/11 Memorial Service and later that week at the Academic and Performance Center Open House that the naming rights for the new Stock Trading Classroom had been granted to the Spagnoletti family in recognition of a generous philanthropic gift and that the classroom would be named in honor of Gregory T. Spagnoletti '90.
"Our College is grateful to the Spagnoletti family for giving their continued support to our institution, and for allowing us to share in the honoring of Greg's memory," remarked President Quigley. "Literally thousands and thousands of students will pass through and learn in the Gregory T. Spagnoletti Trading Room. Greg and his legacy will always be remembered on the Curry College campus."
The new Gregory T. Spagnoletti Stock Trading Classroom accommodates up to 20 students at learning pods with built-in computer stations and streams continuous stock market data and business news via two LCD televisions. |
