Wireless Connections on Campus
Thanks in part to the efforts of the Class of 2011 SGA, computer wireless signals are now available in the lounge areas of 886 BHR, North Hall, NCRH, Lombard, State House, Scholars, Main and Rose Hall. Mayflower will be live shortly.
As with the Academic buildings, you need to use the CCA to log into the network. Please remember that if you are in your room and have your computer connected with a wire and you are within range of an Access Point (AP) you may have trouble logging in if the signal is strong enough. If this is happens, unplug your Ethernet cable or simply disable your wi-fi card. If you still experience problems, contact the Tech Center at techcenter@curry.edu or (617) 333-2911. |

Creating a Better Community Together
As the Housing Selection process gets underway we want to share some important information with you. The theme for this year's selection process will be "Creating a Better Community Together." As the theme suggests, it is our goal to provide our students with an environment where everyone feels as if they are a valued member of the larger Curry College community.
We are also excited to announce the launch of two new web pages that provide detailed information on the selection process. These web pages can be found on the Housing & Residence Life section of the Curry College website under the following links: "Creating a Better Community Together" and "Housing Selection Q&A." |

Go to PAL (if you are in the program), or to the Coordinator of Disability Services, Dr. Tom Byrne, to find out if any accommodations might be appropriate.

Did You Know About On-Line Billing?
You can view your student account bill online anytime. Just log onto your CCWIS account and:
For your added convenience, you can pay your balance here, too.
-
Click on the "Pay Online" button at the bottom of your online bill to be linked to our secure online payment gateway managed by our partner, Tuition Management Systems (TMS).
-
Pay with a draft from your savings or checking account or use your American Express Discover, MasterCard or VISA. There is no charge for using this service.
Helpful hint: To expedite processing of your room deposit in Student Financial Services, we suggest viewing your bill and making payment for any amounts due before you visit the SFS office - you must have a zero balance and you must come in person to make your room deposit. |
Keeping a Clean Campus
Dear Resident Students, recently there has been trash outside of and on top of the dumpsters at the residence halls. We ask that you support Buildings & Grounds in their efforts to maintain a clean campus for all to enjoy, by following the guidelines below.
- The trash should be in the clear bags supplied by the college.
- The bags should be tied to ensure trash doesn't fall out of the bags
- The bags should be placed in the dumpster outside the building.
- Trash should not be left on the ground outside of or on top of the cover to the dumpster.
The alternative is for the residence halls to be billed for the extra time it takes Buildings & Grounds to pick up the trash and clean the area.
If you have any question regarding this procedure, please contact your RA, RD or the Residence Life office.
