The Curry Theatre Advantage opens doors to a wide variety of career choices after Curry. As a student you will gain invaluable on-site experience by working in positions beyond just acting, which leads to building a diverse resume for real world success in or out of the theatre discipline.
In the fall of 2014, Curry College Theatre will perform "Into the Woods," a Stephen Sondheim musical, directed by Sarah Rozene-Wolski - December 11 - 13 at 7:30 p.m., with a matinee at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday as well. Tickets are $10 ($5 for students with Curry ID) and may be reserved at 617-333-2259 (Choose option 2).
"I was confidently able to audition for my first professional jobs the month I graduated. That Summer I was offered roles in two professional productions and asked to work with the Children's Theatre as a Stage Manager at the Ogunquit Playhouse...," says Jennifer Fogarty '09, who was recently cast as Wednesday Addams in the National/International Tour of The Addams Family Musical. Curry Theatre operates in the magnificent Keith Auditorium, a facility which includes an experimental Black Box performance space, a full proscenium stage, two control booths, a state-of-the-art lighting system, a construction shop, an attractive lobby, an actors’ lounge and dressing rooms.
Curry Theatre students have had the opportunity to perform in a wide range of both contemporary and classic theatrical productions.
