The Curry Theatre Advantage opens doors to a wide variety of career choices after Curry. As a student you will gain invaluable on-site experience by working in positions beyond just acting, which leads to building a diverse resume for real world success in or out of the theatre discipline.
Curry College Theatre will perform Euripides' 'The Trojan Women' as the Main Stage show for spring 2014. Directed by Sarah Rozene-Wolski, the production will run Saturday thru Tuesday, April 26 - 29 at 7:30 p.m. in the Keith Auditorium. Curry Theatre also performed a series of student-written and -directed one plays, 'Family Matters,' in March as well as Absolut Improv in April. See the link below to photos from past events.
"I was confidently able to audition for my first professional jobs the month I graduated. That Summer I was offered roles in two professional productions and asked to work with the Children's Theatre as a Stage Manager at the Ogunquit Playhouse...," says Jennifer Fogarty '09, who was recently cast as Wednesday Addams in the National/International Tour of The Addams Family Musical. Curry Theatre operates in the magnificent Keith Auditorium, a facility which includes an experimental Black Box performance space, a full proscenium stage, two control booths, a state-of-the-art lighting system, a construction shop, an attractive lobby, an actors’ lounge and dressing rooms.
Curry Theatre students have had the opportunity to perform in a wide range of both contemporary and classic theatrical productions.
