General Non Work-Study Student Employment
<p>Curry College students who do <strong><em>not </em></strong>receive a work-study award or who exhausted their annual work-study award may be eligible to work in a general non-work-study student employment position. This program provides part-time jobs for eligible undergraduate students and is administered through the Office of Human Resources. There are a number of opportunities to work on campus in various departments. Student employment is a great way to build a resume and gain valuable recommendation/reference contacts. As a campus student employee you have an opportunity to gain valuable work experience while contributing to Curry College's operations, student life, and to the campus community <strong>. </strong></p>
<p>General non-work-study positions are available in a variety of departments. The following guidelines apply to non-work-study employment:</p>
<ul>
<li>Eligible to start before the first day of the published Academic Year.</li>
<li>Must maintain good academic standing and carry a minimum of 6 credits per semester.</li>
<li>May not work more than 20 hours per week <strong><em>or</em></strong><em></em> not more than 1000 hours in the academic year.</li>
<li>During winter and summer break sessions, students may work up to 40 hours per week if funding is available within the department and as long as the hours do not place the student employee's hours over the 1000 hour calendar year limit.</li>
<li>May hold more than one position at any given time as long as the hours do not place the student employee's hours over the 1000 hour calendar year limit.</li>
<li>All work performed in the Student Employment Program (SEP) MUST be performed on campus. <strong> </strong></li>
