Curry College Alumna Helps Save Man's Life at Airport

Returning home from a trip with friends, Curry College nursing alumna Chelsea Pinho '08  was at an airport gate in Philadelphia when a man collapsed from sudden cardiac arrest.

Pinho works as a nurse at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, MA. She and her friends, also nurses, began performing CPR, rescue breathing, and defibrillation and were joined by a paramedic at the airport. They were able to revive the man.
