"It's exciting, because it is taking everything I've learned about science, but rather than just doing the research at the ground level, we're on the front lines, really implementing it and putting it into policy."

Elizabeth Eddy '11, ORISE Research Participant
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
Washington, D.C.

"The internship my professor helped me secure at Greater Boston Legal Services was a pretty amazing experience. And it's a position usually reserved only for law school students."

Ellery O'Hara '17

Krista Selnau '09, Politics & History/English
Staff Attorney, Pine Tree Legal Assistance

"If I’m going to stand in front of the classroom and tell students about using social media for public relations, I better be able to show them that I’m using it and using it well."

Professor Kirk Hazlett, APR, Fellow PRSA
Member, PRSA Educators Academy Board of Directors

"I love being an Orientation Leader. It has opened so many doors for me, including my job as a resident assistant. The relationships that we build with the First-Year students and with my fellow OL's are just so amazing."

Abby Pieger '17

Martin Heavey '16, Business Management

"Right from the get-go our professors at Curry made sure we knew where this industry was going. That was one of the things that appealed to me about Curry. I could get all of the hands on experience that I knew I was going to need."

"Despite all of the experiences I've had abroad, I was never really involved in high school; never really put myself out there. But Curry has given me the confidence and the comfort level to take that extra step and do the things I never thought I would do."

Andrew Gass '18, English/Writing, Education

"When we do the reviews for the shoes, I think back to sitting in studio class at Curry, where we’d critique everyone’s pieces. Our professor would always say that critiques are not something to be taken personally. In fact they help you progress and make something good, even better."

Nikki Graves '06, Global QA Specialist
The Rockport Group

"I can't say enough about the Curry Education program. I was so close with all of my professors. I was always emailing and meeting with them. And the small class sizes were great - they were so personal. I loved it!"

Monica DiStefano '14

Scituate Public Schools

"Every day I wake up there's something new to challenge me, but never in the sense that I'm scared of the challenge - I always welcome it, and that's the best part about being here."

"Completing a dual degree, working several on campus jobs and interning at various companies are what helped me perfect time management and prioritization - transferable skills which have served me well in my career."

Elton Silva '14, Senior Consultant of Pharmacy Operations, CVS Health

"Many of my professors have their own clinical practices, and they bring their professional experiences into our classroom discussions. And that is so much more interesting than just reading from a textbook."
