Antonio Paulino-Taylor, Class of 2017 - Design

As a kid on the way from Attleboro to visit relatives in Mattapan, Antonio Paulino-Taylor would often pass the sign for Curry College and wonder what might be beyond the entrance gate. When he was a senior in high school, he decided to finally solve that mystery. What he found here appealed to him, and he's been designing his future beyond Curry ever since.

"I've always had an interest in art," said Antonio. "Whether it was through music or through visual arts - graphic design - I always liked to express myself. Curry has an amazing design program, and after Accepted Student Day, it just felt like the perfect place."

Antonio has a flair for sharing his originality. "I try to add a little bit of flavor to my projects and concepts. I contribute to everything that we have done and inspire other students to do the same."

"My favorite medium to work in is digital. I love the Adobe Creative Suite," said Antonio, who is happy to use the many resources the college has to offer. "Here at Curry, we have the latest. We have top-of-the-line MACs in the Kennedy building, along with high-end printers. So, it makes it really easy for me, as a person who loves the digital realm."

And along the way, Antonio's portfolio has grown by leaps and bounds.

"I have been able to design logos, flyers, promotional material for the Student Center, and for a lot of other events and clubs on campus. I've had a lot of opportunities to showcase my talent and give back to the Curry community."
