The connections you can make in Boston, as well as the opportunities in the surrounding areas here, are second to none in the media industry. Being at Curry, there are so many different ways to get your foot in the door early, at places like NESN, The Boston Globe and Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots and Revolution.

A Message to the Mount Ida College Community

April 9, 2018

The news that Mount Ida College will be closing saddened the Curry College community, and our hearts and thoughts have been with all those who are affected by the announcement.  For the Mount Ida students - both currently enrolled and those admitted to attend for the first time in Fall 2018 - who are anxious about choices that lie ahead, we offer you our support and our encouragement.

Our college's co-founder Samuel Silas Curry encouraged students to "Dare to Do What You Dream." The Curry community is mobilized and ready to help you do just that.

From ease of application for admission with expedited decision, to accelerated transfer credit review, to personalized financial aid awarding and counseling, and the potential for customized campus housing - our faculty and staff wish to assist Mount Ida students who believe they could benefit from a Curry education.

Attending a private, liberal-arts based college with career-directed programs enhanced by practical field experiences, on a suburban Boston campus, has been your dream, your plan, your path.  We hope that path can continue at Curry College on our Milton campus. Here, you'll find a caring community, small classes taught by a talented teaching faculty, 27 majors, and over 60 minors and concentrations. If your academic major isn't one that Curry currently offers, consider pursuing an Individually Initiated Major (IIM); you may be able to construct a distinctive major combining subject areas with the assistance of a faculty advisor.

Curry College is committed to student success and empowering students to achieve their ambitions. Our Admission and Student Financial Services offices will be open for extended hours from 8:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Tuesdays - Thursdays throughout the month of April. We welcome Mount Ida College students to attend an Explore Curry Day, offered each Friday through May 4.  Personalized visits, with access to faculty, coaches of our 14 NCAA Division III athletic teams, and student services staff can be arranged by contacting the Admission Office.

If we can help you, please contact us at 617-333-2210 or via email at adm@curry.edu.
