Michael (Mike) Bosco began his tenure at Curry College in September 2016.

As Associate Provost for Academic Administration has oversight responsibility for the Registrar's Office, Academic Contracts & Payroll, Academic Operations, Center for Global and Career Services and special projects within the Provost's Office. The Associate Provost for Academic Administration strategically advances the priorities of Academic Affairs through collaborative partnerships with faculty, staff and students, maintaining our commitment to sustainable academic quality.

The position's primary responsibility is the development and oversight of integrated systems to promote efficiency within the academic enterprise. Additionally, the Associate Provost serves as the budget manager in Academic Affairs and works closely with Finance on preparation of the budget and monitoring expenses throughout the year. The Associate Provost leads and/or supports projects and duties assigned by the Provost in consultation and collaboration with the other academic leaders. The Associate Provost serves as a thought partner to the Provost and provides oversight and leadership to the Academic Affairs division in the absence of the Provost.

Mike actively supports the College's new program development efforts and collaborates with faculty seeking to initiate new degrees, majors, minors, and concentrations and serves as Provost Office liaison for faculty searches. He interfaces, as needed, with degree granting authorities and accreditation organizations associated with offering new academic programs.

In addition to his work in the Academic Affairs, Mike is a member of the College’s Senior Staff, serves on a variety of committees including the Commencement Committee, New Academic Program Advisory Committee, Strategic Planning Steering Committee, and the Strategic Planning Direction I Leadership Team.

Prior to serving in his current role, Mike served as Curry’s Associate Vice President of Academic & Strategic Partnerships and as Assistant Vice President of Academic Affairs. Mike has more than two decades of experience in higher education having served several different institutions in capacities including academic administration, enrollment management and marketing, and student affairs.
