Tammy holds a PhD in English from Boston University as well as an MA in English and a BA in English with a minor in French, both from Brooklyn College. Before coming to Curry, she tutored at Broward College in Fort Lauderdale, FL and taught English at various places, including Boston University, Emerson College, UMASS-Amherst, Rutgers, and La Guardia Community College. Tammy also has extensive experience in the corporate and nonprofit sectors, where she wrote and edited books, articles, speeches, reports, brochures, and marketing pieces.
