Susan Natale MS, RN, most recently held a role as Associate Chief Nurse for Ambulatory Services at the Cambridge Health Alliance, a safety-net organization serving the metro-north region of Boston. She has clinical, educational, and administrative experience in the acute, long-term, and outpatient arenas. She is currently in the dissertation phase of a PhD program at the University of Massachusetts Worcester, Graduate School of Nursing. She received undergraduate and graduate degrees from Northeastern University. Recent presentations include "Integrating Patients into Performance Improvement Teams" at the annual American Association of Essential Hospitals conference, and "Storyboard Walkarounds: Leveraging Teams for Transformation: PCMH to ACO" at the Institute of Healthcare Improvement's 17th Annual Summit on Improving Patient Care in the Office Practice & the Community. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nurses, and the Organization of Nurse Leaders.
