Professor O'Donnell joined the Politics & History Department in 2002. She teaches Introduction to Politics and has developed two new courses that reflect her areas of expertise and passion for combining academics and practical politics, State and Local Politics and Women: Power and Politics. She is faculty advisor to the Politics & History Club.
As an acknowledged political junky, Kathy has had a career in politics and government that spans positions in state government, including press secretary for a cabinet official, elected as a State Committeewoman, and staff responsibilities in campaigns, to name a few. She is a graduate of Harvard University Kennedy School of Government.
