Offered in partnership with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the SHRM Learning System curriculum is designed by global subject matter experts and covers the entire SHRM Body of Applied Skills and Knowledge (SHRM BASK).  Throughout the program, HR professionals are encouraged to acquire the Competencies and Knowledge they'll need to effectively perform their jobs and achieve career success.  Our course is designed to help you learn and retain the material effectively and efficiently by combining the best exam preparation system with expert instruction and peer discussion.

*Less than a bachelor's degree includes: working toward a bachelor's degree; associate's degree; some college; qualifying HR certificate program; high school diploma; or GED.

  • Applicants must show that they have worked in an HR role for more than 1,000 hours within a calendar year, which equates to 1 year of experience.
  • HR experience may be in an HR exempt or nonexempt capacity.
  • Applicants with a graduate degree (or global equivalency) in HR must currently be employed in an HR role.
  • HR experience may be classified directly, as working in an HR role, or indirectly, by consulting, educating or researching HR practices linked specifically to human resource management.
  • SHRM membership is not required.

Curry College offers the SHRM Learning System for SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification at both the Milton and Plymouth campuses.

Tuition:

$1,250, including course materials

Program Requirements:

There are no admission requirements to take this program, however certain criteria must be met for participants taking the SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP exam. For more information on certification requirements, please review the SHRM eligibility criteria.

Spring 2024 Course Schedule:

SHRM Learning (CP/SCP) is offered as a 12-week session scheduled for February 12 - May 3. The program is fully online with online synchronous meetings on Wednesday evenings, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.

Cancellation Policy:

Full refunds will be issued if the student withdraws from the course before it begins. Non-attendance does not constitute official withdrawal. Students must call 888-260-7325 to withdraw prior to the first class. Students are not eligible for a refund once the course has started.

The SHRM Learning System for SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP includes five modules covering the comprehensive SHRM BASK so you'll learn everything you need for the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP exam.
