Curry College financial aid consists of grants and/or loans from the federal government and state agencies as well as private loans from banks. By applying for financial aid, you are applying for consideration for all available types of federal and state assistance. Students must be admitted to a degree program in order to receive financial aid. For information on degree admittance, please email the Division of Continuing and Graduate Studies.

The steps outlined for you below will guide you through the online Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application process. If you encounter any difficulties while you are completing your FAFSA, please call the Federal Processing Center at 1-800-4FEDAID (800-433-3243) for assistance.

Step 1. Apply for a FSA ID
Go to studentaid.gov to apply for a Federal Student Aid ID (FSA ID) to electronically sign your FAFSA. If you are a dependent student, your parent will also need to apply for a FSA ID.

Step 2. File a FAFSA
Go to studentaid.gov to file the FAFSA. To ensure that we will receive your information you must enter Curry College's Federal School Code of 002143 in step six of the online form. To expedite the award process, use the IRS Data Retrieval tool option. After Curry College receives your information, additional documentation may be required. You will be notified by mail. If you intend to use financial aid to pay the tuition, it is recommended that students complete the FAFSA no later than two weeks prior to starting classes.

Step 3. File Financial Aid Enrollment Information Worksheet
You may need to complete an Enrollment Information Form in order for Curry to determine your eligibility for financial aid. Student Financial Services will notify you if this form is required.

Step 4. Curry College will mail your financial aid package
Once your FAFSA is complete and you have been admitted to a degree program, a financial aid award package will be mailed to you detailing the types of aid and amounts for which you are eligible. If you receive any type of outside financial assistance, you must inform Student Financial Services.

Step 5: Register for Classes
After you receive your financial aid award, please contact the Division of Continuing Education and Graduate Studies to register for classes. Academic advisors are available to assist you with selecting courses.

You must reapply for financial aid annually by completing the FAFSA and submitting an Enrollment Verification Form for the academic year for which you are applying for financial aid.

Verification is the process in which a college confirms the accuracy of the data you reported on your FAFSA. If your application is selected for verification, you must complete the verification process before your eligibility for financial aid can be determined, and before financial aid can be awarded to you. Students may be asked to submit additional documentation to determine or finalize financial aid eligibility.

Documents that are required for verification:

Once the Student Financial Services Office has received all of the required paperwork, you will be notified of your eligibility, generally within two weeks as long as you have been admitted in to a degree program. Award letters are mailed to students on a rolling basis beginning in early June.

Eligibility for need based financial aid will depend on the information from the FAFSA and your enrollment status. For additional information about Federal financial aid programs view the U.S. Department of Education Student Guide.

Additionally, you may be eligible for certain state aid funds. Review the Continuing Education State Aid or Federal Loan Programs to see eligibility criteria for each program.

If you are a veteran of the armed forces, you may be eligible for funding from the Veteran's Administration (VA). Please contact the College's Veteran's Certifying Official located in the Registrar's Office during normal business hours with any questions you may have about your eligibility for VA funding.
