CAGS Program Information

Curry College is pleased to offer a 10% tuition discount when two candidates from the same district or agency enroll in the CAGS Program.  A 20% tuition discount will be provided when three or more candidates from the same district/agency enroll in the CAGS Program.

Benefits of the Certificate in Advanced Graduate Study in Educational Leadership (CAGS) program:

  • Courses focus on contemporary, relevant issues which today's school leaders face on a regular basis.
  • Convenient Online Schedule - Classes are scheduled one evening a week and are delivered in a synchronous online format to best meet the needs of busy professionals.
  • State-Approved Program - Curry's Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study has been approved by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
  • Financial aid is available to those who qualify.

Schedule:

The CAGS schedule consists of Online Synchronous Classes with cohorts starting every January.

CAGS can be completed in as few as two semesters.

Courses:

Semester I: 7-Week Session
EDL 7070: Trends in Twenty-first Century Education* (3 credits)

Semester II: 8-Week Session
EDL 7080: Diversity and Balance* (3 credits)
EDL 7090: Planning for Success as a School Leader* (3 credits)

Semester III: 8-Week Session
EDL 7170: Data Analysis, Planning and Action Research* (4 credits)

*Denotes courses open for professional development opportunities for administrators who are not seeking a CAGS but are interested in earning graduate credit.

Tuition and Discounts:

Tuition for the series of four courses is $7,241. A 10% tuition discount is available when two candidates from the same district or agency enroll in the program and a 20% tuition discount when three or more students attend. An Alumni rate is also available - limit one discount per student.
