A Curry College Center for Career Development Employer partner shakes the hand of a current student

Motivated, Prepared, Career-driven

By partnering with the Center for Global & Career Services, you gain access to a pool of bright, motivated and eager students and alumni who are ready to make a contribution to your business. Our students come from diverse backgrounds and ranges of experience, and are involved in a wide variety of academic programs geared toward professional success and to fit the needs of your company.

The easiest way to reach out to Curry College students and alumni is through Handshake. This system allows employers to post positions that they are recruiting for. Once positions are posted, the Center for Global & Career Services will promote them to students and alumni through our weekly jobs and events newsletter, social media, faculty, and other advertising channels throughout the College. All submissions are subject to approval by the Center for Global & Career Services.

Third-Party Recruiters
The Center for Global & Career Services currently does not approve postings from third-party recruiters or search firms in Handshake. Please contact our office for further options.

Domestic Positions (Childcare, Home Care Assistance, Pet Walkers, Senior Care, etc.)
Private and community employers who wish to hire students for domestic positions are encouraged to utilize Care.com. The Center for Global & Career Services will not post fliers or send emails on the employers behalf.

Unpaid Internship Listings
Students can earn credits depending upon the number of hours that they work. Internship employers have the option to determine whether the internship opportunity is eligible for compensation (this is not a requirement). We ask that employers follow the United States Department of Labor internship guidelines, which can be found on the link below

United States Department of Labor: Wage and Hour Division

Internships are a vital component of the career development process. Curry College provides students with the ability to gain real-world and professional experience outside the classroom for which they receive class credit. The internship program focuses on the growth and development of the student and helps build valuable partnerships with employers. For more information regarding the program, site qualifications, and requirements, please see our Internship Program.

*Curry College does not require that Internship Sites pay student interns. For-profit internship sites should review the Department of Labor's legal criteria for determining whether an internship needs to be a paid experience.

Networking and Connecting with Curry College Students

The Center for Global & Career Services provides employers multiple platforms to connect with students and increase brand recognition on campus.

Information Sessions & Class Presentations
We welcome you to present your organization to the Curry community during an on-campus information session or class presentation. Highlight the opportunities available, discuss the hiring process, and promote your brand.

Student Center Information Table - Job Spot
Market your organization and available positions by staffing a table in the Student Center. Answer questions, interact with students, and recruit future talent during specialized hours.

Job Shadowing\Information Interviews\Mock Interviews
Provide an opportunity for a student to come to you! Informational interviews, job shadowing, and mock interviews are great ways to connect to our students outside of the typical recruitment process.

The Center for Global & Career Services strives to produce meaningful and effective career events for students from all class years. Throughout the academic year, we provide students and employers the opportunity to network on the Curry College campus. Some of these events include:

Career & Internship Fair (Spring)
The Career & Internship Fair connects students to job and internship opportunities. Undergraduate students and alumni attend this event to speak individually with recruiters and company representatives about job and internship opportunities. The Curry College Career & Internship Fair is held annually each spring. To receive notifications about this event, please connect with us on Handshake.

Fall Semester Event
In the fall semester, CGCS hosts a career preparation event that caters to all students. This event prepares students to network and interview for jobs and internships.
