Communication Alumna Wins Broadcasting Award for Series on Opioid Crisis

Curry College alumna Gina Marini '11 (Communication) was recently recognized by the Maine Association of Broadcasters for her journalistic work in addressing the opioid epidemic in New England. Marini (@ginamarini_news), a morning anchor Fox Bangor (WFVX) and ABC 7 (WVII), was awarded first place in the category of public affairs for her series, "Children of the Opioid Crisis - The Untold Story."
