Incoming First-Year Student Teaches Sign Language to Mansfield Police Officers

Catherine Fitzgerald, an incoming first-year Criminal Justice major, has been teaching sign language to Mansfield police officers.

A student at Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School, Catherine chose this as her senior project. In addition to providing direct instruction, she also made pocket guides for the officers to reference when needed.

Catherine's story has gained national attention from dozens of media outlets across the country.
