Dr. James Keane assumed the role of Associate Provost for Student Success and Retention at Curry College in January 2024. In this capacity, he oversees cross-area planning and provides support to key offices, including Disability Services, First Year Programs, Advising and Academic Success, Levin Library, the Faculty Center, and the Center for Global and Career Services. Dr. Keane's primary focus is on enhancing the success, retention, and persistence of students by fostering a culture of academic engagement through collaborative efforts with all campus constituents.
Prior to joining Curry College, Dr. Keane served as the Vice President for Academic Affairs at Quinsigamond Community College. His extensive professional background includes roles as Executive Dean and Campus CEO at SUNY Suffolk and Associate Provost for Undergraduate Education at St. John's University. Additionally, Dr. Keane has taught various graduate and under-graduate Education courses at Stony Brook University and St. John's University.
