Eileen earned a BA from Emmanuel College with a double major in French and English and minors in Russian and Secondary Education. She also holds an MA from Brown University in French Literature and Linguistics, in addition to certificates for teaching French, English, English for Speakers of Other Languages, Russian, and Spanish, and is certified in the Wilson Reading System. Eileen began her career as a high school French and English teacher.  After fifteen years in secondary education, she started her own company specializing in career and workplace training services. She then moved on to Quincy College, where she held positions ranging from Director of Community and Workplace Education, to Director of Career and Transfer Services, to Dean of the Plymouth Campus of Quincy College. She joined the Curry community ten years ago.
