Two Appointed to Curry College Board of Trustees

President Jay Gonzalez is pleased to announce that Arthur Bernard and Susan D. Griffin ’80 have been elected to serve on the Curry College Board of Trustees.

Bernard is an Attorney/Consultant at the government relations firm TSK Associates, LLC in Boston.  He provides strategic advice to clients on state and local government policy matters before the State Legislature, the Executive Agencies of state and municipal governments.  Prior to joining TSK Associates, Bernard served for 30 years in state government in senior legal, policy and strategic advisor positions including:  Chief of Staff to Governor Deval Patrick, Chief of Staff to Massachusetts State Senate President Robert Travaglini, Vice Chancellor for Government Relations and Public Affairs for the University of Massachusetts Boston, General Counsel for the University of Massachusetts Building Authority and Associate Counsel for the University of Massachusetts. Bernard received his B.A. in Government from Suffolk University and his J.D. from Boston College Law School.  Bernard is a lifelong resident of Massachusetts and resides in Duxbury, Massachusetts. 

Griffin is a marketing and communications professional who has deep experience working in news media, marketing, public relations, and crisis management. She is the Director of Public Relations & Communications at South Shore Health, Weymouth, Massachusetts. As a member of the health system’s leadership team, she works to advance the organization’s goal of providing exceptional care to patients and families of the region.  

Griffin has extensive news management experience gained through years of hands-on coordination and coverage of major events for leading Boston market TV and radio stations, digital and broadcast news channels. She graduated from Curry with a B.A. in Communication. She lives on the South Shore of Massachusetts. Her son, Andrew Devine ’15 is also a Curry graduate, and her daughter Jacqui lives close by in Boston.
