Comput/HER at Curry College is an annual one-day conference that invites young women in high school to explore career opportunities in computer and data sciences. This conference will feature an all-female lineup of speakers and panelists from industry who will talk about their experiences and provide hands-on guidance on the possibilities within different domains of this growing field.

The history of computer and data sciences has the strong influence of women and women of color in particular, and it is one of the fastest growing fields that is filled with opportunity.  The need for computer science skills is growing and will become even greater as the world relies more and more on technology.  It is an exciting arena to work in with the addition of new areas such as Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence.

This conference is a place for young women and those who support them to collaborate, engage in experiential learning techniques, and mingle with others who are exploring the possibilities within this growing field.

Participants will hear inspirational stories from successful women who are making their marks in industry, will be mentored by female college students and recent graduates, and participate in collaborative, hands-on, skill-building activities in a welcoming and supportive environment.
