Curry College will celebrate the annual New Student Academic Convocation on Friday, August 22, 2025, officially welcoming the incoming Class of 2029 to campus, while sharing the many opportunities ahead for the new academic year.
Convocation begins at 9:30 a.m. on Westhaver Park with the new student procession from the Academic Quad, and continues inside Katz Gymnasium.
Dr. Courtney James will deliver the faculty keynote address during the ceremony. Dr. James is the Program Coordinator and Assistant Professor of Exercise Science, our newest program in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences.
