Sexual Misconduct, Sexual Harassment, Title IX, Bias, Discrimination and Retaliation

Curry College is committed to the safety and well-being of all members of our College community. Sexual misconduct, sexual harassment, bias, discrimination and retaliation will not be tolerated on this campus or in this community.

Curry College fully supports the right of all persons to receive an education or hold employment without experiencing acts of unlawful discrimination, bias, harassment, sexual misconduct, or retaliation. As such, it is the policy of the College to maintain an academic and work environment that is free of harassment and of discriminatory actions based on an individual's legally protected characteristics, which can include but are not limited to race, religion, color, sex, age, ethnic or national origin or ancestry, physical or mental disability, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, genetic information, veteran or military status, membership in the Uniformed Services, or any category protected by applicable state and federal laws.

Federal law prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin (Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964); sex (Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972); or disability (Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990) in educational programs or activities receiving federal financial assistance. Curry College is dedicated to creating and maintaining an educational and work environment that values the diverse backgrounds of all people. Curry College strictly prohibits discrimination in admissions, educational programs and services, and employment on the basis of race, color, religious creed, age, marital status, national origin, ancestry, sex, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, genetic information, veteran status, and any other basis protected by law.
