The business management program at Curry College has received first-time accreditation from the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE).

Curry's Business Management program was granted the distinction in April 2017 after undertaking a rigorous self-evaluation and undergoing a comprehensive, independent peer review and demonstrating compliance in the areas of: outcomes assessment, strategic planning, curriculum, faculty, scholarly and professional activities, resources, internal and external relations, internal business education, and educational innovation.

In addition, the Business Management Department has demonstrated a commitment to continuous improvement, excellence in business education, and advancing academic quality in its business programs and operations.

The business management curriculum at Curry prepares students for success in a variety of business-related careers. In their courses, students learn about accounting, economics, finance, law, marketing, and ethics. Our business students also acquire essential business skills such as teamwork, organizational behavior, presentation techniques, decision-making, leadership, systems thinking, case analysis, and project planning.

Founded in 1997, IACBE is nationally-recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). It is the leader in mission-driven and outcomes-based programmatic accreditation in business and management education throughout the world. The IACBE has hundreds of member institutions and has accredited more than 1,500 business and business-related programs.
