Criminal Justice and Sociology Professor Karen Lischinsky was recently featured in a WCVB segment about her restorative justice work through the Transformational Prison Project.

The segment focused on a recent Restorative Justice Responsibility Retreat held inside the Massachusetts Correctional Institution at Norfolk, and how restorative justice aims to break the cycle of violence. In the segment, Dr. Lischinsky explains that prosecutors should be part of restorative justice because it helps them see that the individual that they are prosecuting is a person with a whole story.
