PAL Faculty Publish New Book on Neurodiversity in Higher Education

Developed during Dr. Fox's recent sabbatical, the project builds on her decades of work in the field, including her 2010 book Changing Lives Through Metacognitive Relationships: LD/ADHD and College Success. The book's Legacy theme draws on the pioneering work of PAL, the nation's first college program of its kind, established at Curry in 1970, while its Growth theme reflects the expanding mission of Curry's Neurodiversity Center for Excellence.

"The fundamentals presented are bedrocks of the neurodiversity movement," the editors write in the book's introduction, emphasizing the importance of recognizing that every person learns and processes information differently.
