Public Relations students found time to give back this semester, collecting monetary gifts, non-perishable items, and toys for those in need.

Curry College Public Relations Student Association members recently collected several boxes of non-perishable items for Interfaith Social Services, a Quincy-based not-for-profit organization.

Students in the "Principles of PR" class hosted a Turkey Toss fundraiser to support hurricane victims, amassing around $700 worth of donations. They also helped collect $500 and 190 teddy bears for the Hockey program's annual Teddy Bear Toss, benefiting Christmas in the City.

Finally, students in the "Publicity Techniques" course wrote press kits to help non-profit organizations of their choice.
